It ain’t called Party Crack Mix for no reason. This party mix will have you addicted by the end of the night, I mean it.
It’s sweet, it’s salty, and oh yes -it’s crunchy, too. (That’s everything I love about this mix in one short and sweet sentence.)
You can really add anything you want to this recipe and make it your own. (Your guests will sure remember you for this!)
I used Glutino’s gluten-free pretzels and a bag of whole pecans that I crushed into smaller pieces. The combination of all of the different textures and tastes help make this recipe really fun to eat and all the more addicting.
I made this Party Crack Mix for a Halloween party I attended. (The party was a little on the lame side, so let’s just say this party crack lasted longer than I did, and it went fast…)
Side note: Why do stores have to get rid of holiday items before the holiday has passed? I went to the store Halloween morning (super last minute, I know) and couldn’t find a single Halloween bag to put my party mix in. So, I bought these clear plastic goodie bags instead. All was good in the end, but still.

Notes on Party Crack Mix:
- If serving on holidays, add holiday-themed candies or sprinkles to make more festive. (Candy corn, candy pumpkins, red and green m&m’s, snowflake sprinkles, etc.) *Just be sure to check that ingredients are gluten-free*
- Serve in a festive bowl, bag in clear or printed goodie bags, or serve in muffin baking cups.
- If Vegan, substitute the sticks of butter with 3/4 cup of non-dairy butter. (I use Smart Balance.) Also, substitute honey for agave nectar or pure maple syrup. You may need to add a little more than 1 tbsp. of agave nectar, since it is usually thinner than honey or maple syrup.
