I love donuts. So much that I had to make a Katz Gluten Free Glazed Donut Review. I have no idea how long these have been out, but I first saw them just a month ago in the freezer section of Giant. Naturally, I had to go ahead and throw them in the cart as soon as I saw them.
Not only do these donuts exist, but they’re also glazed donuts. You know, like my favorite?
The first thing I give these donuts credit for is the fact that they’re a good size. Most gluten-free donuts I’ve had were delicious, but puny. This is not the case with these.
These glazed donuts also make you feel less guilty because they are dairy free, hurray! Not only that, but anyone allergic to nuts or soy can still enjoy these donuts too, since they are both nut and soy free.
My Rating (Katz Gluten Free Glazed Donut Review):
This is a donut approved for the laziest of lazy people (which includes me). This product allows you to have fresh-tasting gluten-free donuts in the blink of an eye. Just buy them, store them in your freezer, and pop one in the microwave for 15-20 seconds anytime you want one.
For a box of six donuts, these will cost you $6.99. It equals a little over $1 for each donut, not too shabby. It’s definitely a price I’m willing to pay.
You can find these in a store local to you or purchase straight from their website, where they have an option to buy a case of donuts (six boxes, 36 donuts) and of course, just a box of six.
These glazed donuts get five stars on taste. They taste so good and are comparable to other non gluten-free glazed donuts.
**I was amazed to find that on Katz’s website, they have 20+ types of gluten-free donuts and donut holes. (Like, WHAT?) I’m talking chocolate frosted, cinnamon, powdered, custard donuts, gingerbread, jelly, pumpkin spice, sea salt caramel, triple chocolate, and more! (You best know I’m going to be trying out and reviewing all of these.)
These donuts were nice and soft (especially after heating in the microwave for a few seconds), and had a delicious cake-like consistency.
Super, super good.
I’m so full right now that it’s almost hard to keep thinking about these donuts, so I’m going to take that as my cue to stop.
Have you tried out any of Katz’s products? Let me know in the comments below!
