This Homemade Strawberry Vinaigrette Dressing recipe is just plain old simple. And incredibly delicious.
If you’re anything like me, you like to take shortcuts. The easy way out is always the best way out, which is exactly why I never thought of making my own salad dressing. It just sounds so time-consuming. But, and I kid you not, this recipe took me only 10 minutes to make.
On top of how easy this is to make, it’s also super healthy. Unlike store-bought dressings, this Homemade Strawberry Vinaigrette Dressing contains no hidden ingredients. There won’t be any cheap filler oils here, nor high fructose corn syrup, or MSG and GMO’s.
What more could you ask for?
If you’ve never tried a homemade dressing, then this one will blow your mind. The frozen strawberries make it taste so fresh and real.
In the Spring or Summer, switch out the frozen strawberries for fresh local ones. Or use strawberries you’ve grown from your own garden. (Talk about fresh tasting!)
Do you ever wonder why manufacturers use artificial coloring in the first place? This dressing made me wonder just that, I mean, look at the beautiful shade of pink that this dressing is! Just from blending up a handful of strawberries. (Is that too hard?)
I’ve never seen a prettier dressing than this.
Pair this Homemade Strawberry Vinaigrette Dressing with:
First, I paired this dressing with an Apple Cranberry Walnut Salad
Then, I ate it along with the leftovers of my Stuffed Portobello Mushroom Caps (Wild Rice & Spinach)
A perfect combination, if you ask me. The sweet and tanginess of the cold salad counteracted by the warm comfort of the stuffed mushroom caps. Eating that meal with my beau may have just been one of the best moments of my life.
